Tikehau is a paradise atoll in the Tuamotu archipelago, 55 minutes' flight from Papeete, the capital of French Polynesia. An atoll is a type of low coral island found in tropical oceans. Atolls consist of a reef or coral barrier and several islets called motu. Tikehau offers its visitors a true natural swimming pool, superb white and pink sand beaches stretching as far as the eye can see, a crystal-clear lagoon with a multitude of tropical fish species. Marine life is very rich there and promises nature lovers beautiful spectacles.
The island is populated by approximately 500 people, and its inhabitants call it "the house of a peaceful world".
The population lives mainly from fishing and copra production. Tikehau is one of the most sought-after atolls in Polynesia for relaxation, a change of scenery, diving, fishing, discovering natural Jacuzzis called "Feo", strolls on the motu, visiting the picturesque and colourful village of Tuherahera and the bird island where rare species nest.
You will stay in a family Polynesian garden bungalow, consisting of a bedroom that can accommodate up to 5 people, a bathroom with hot water, and a private terrace with a view of the beach and lagoon. Breakfast and dinner are provided by your host. You will enjoy seafood, seasonal tropical fruits, and traditional Tahitian recipes, such as the unmissable raw fish in coconut milk.

Que dire de Pep's ️ un soleil au quotidien qui reste gravé!!! L'amour, le partage donné à notre famille, à nos enfants fû exceptionnel!!
L'excursion proposé sur place pour les raies manta, l'île aux oiseaux, le repas sur motu de sable rose était parfaite! Nous avons été accueilli comme si nous étions chez nous, en famille, MERCI pour ces belles rencontres et le quotidien partagé ensemble nous ne l'oublierons jamais... |
